Questions & answers
How do I collect logs for my Mac app? (FileFillet, FlowMoose, TailBeat)
- Launch the app and reproduce the problem you're seeing.
- Right after, open Terminal and run this command (it asks for your password):
sudo log collect --last 1m --output ~/Desktop/logs.logarchiveIt creates a .logarchive file on your Desktop — upload that file above. Other files are welcome too; you're not limited to the log archive.
Tip: --last 1m captures the last minute. If the problem happened a little earlier, increase the window — for example --last 5m or --last 1h.
What happens to the files I upload?
Your files are used only to investigate your support case. As soon as the case is no longer relevant — whether it's fixed, declined, or otherwise closed — the files are deleted immediately from our storage. We don't keep them, share them, or use them for anything else.
Can I also upload a video, screenshots, or notes?
Yes — please do. A short screen recording of the problem is often the single most helpful thing you can send, so we especially encourage videos.
Files are uploaded securely to LeanBytes storage.
